Oh, where to start?! Jen is fantastic! Personable, welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. Her office is lovely and comforting. I've been to a few estheticians, but hands down, Jen is the best. I recently had the Bio Spicule Microneedling ("liquid" microneedling) treatment. I will compare the two versions: the "regular" microneedling vs. BSM, since I've had both treatments. Is the BSM "better" than the regular? IMO, yes. Why? Because it is a liquid, it was able to reach all the nooks and crannies of my face, neck, and décolletage. The results of the BSM versus "regular" was wayyyyyy better! My skin is still glowing from that treatment AND it is incredibly soft!

With the regular microneedling there is a numbing cream that is used. Not so in BSM. I say this to prepare you. Now, I do have a higher pain tolerance so I was able to handle it. And Jen did prepare me - a week in advance she treated me with a lower-level bio spicule microneedling to assess my tolerance level. For me, Jen did go to the highest level possible. That might not be for everyone. BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU! It is so worth it! There are varying levels for the BSM and Jen will work with you on what you can handle and go from there. Do it! Do it!

Also to be noted as this is different than the "regular," is the two-day post-treatment feeling. With "regular," you have the usual redness, tightness, and peeling. With BSM, there are 2-3 days of feeling the spicules still at work (I like that ... I can still feel the treatment taking place). Yes, it does feel "prickly," but for me, by day 3 (this includes treatment day), I was fine. I did peel/shed more than a "regular" treatment - which I was soooo happy with! My skin looks freaking amazing and that's just one treatment! But you truly need to take those 2/3 days to stay at home post treatment. You will feel more comfortable if you do so. I got my treatment done Friday morning and was feeling great by Sunday morning.

Bottom line: Is Bio Spicule Microneedling worth it??? ABSOLUTLEY!! Will I go back to "regular" microneedling? NOPE!!...more
